The supply of the cement doesn't exceed the demand of the cement by a big margin, but the capacity that has been installed by the cement industry far exceeds the demand of the cement. Rather the cement capacity is approximately double then the demand.

The capacity utilization of the industry during the first seven months of this fiscal reached 91.28 percent which is the highest since 2004-05.
